Meet
the Billies
Just
starting out in the business, this rare first "Billy" album
shows the boys at their hillbilly best. This was the first album to be
released outside of the mountains of Santa Monica and shows the raw talent
that later presented itself at both the Golden Horseshoe and Thunder
Ranch. Rare copies of this album were destroyed by angry concert promoters
following Dennis' statement that" the Billies were bigger than
cod." |
Sgt.
Billy's Rocky Topped Snubbed Band
Approaching
the pinnacle of their talent, this later release shows that these four
lovable lads do indeed have Rock 'n Roll in their DNA. This was later
proven to be medically true following intense testing. Hailed by Bluegrass
fans everywhere at the time of it's release, this album is no longer in
circulation due to poor planning. [producing one CD at a time]

Following the success of their Sgt. Billy
album, The Billies hastily through together this popular recording in
between naps and lunch breaks. This photograph was taken as the boys were
leaving for yet another of their afternoon lunch breaks between shows. |
Billy
and the Chipmunks
Done as a Christmas- time children's
album, this very rare recording quickly became a hot collector's
with Dr. Demento followers and brings considerable prices on
internet auction sites even today. Although not pictured on the album
cover, Bass Billy was lauded for his performance as David Seville, the
leader of this chipmunk trio. |
